A leading health organization is seeking a Community Health Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing services in remote First Nations communities. The role involves health promotion and disease prevention. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $94,724 to $114,261, along with extensive benefits including recruitment and retention allowances, a health spending account, and a robust pension plan.

Title: Community Health Nurse – Remote (remote community)
Salary: $94,724 – $114,261 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: 4 year - Term
Hours: 37.5 Hours, Monday – Friday, we offer 2,3,and 4 week rotations
Location: Kitkatla, Dolphin Island
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)
As Community Health Nurse, you will – Provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services in remote First Nations communities in program areas of community and public health, primary care, and urgent and emergent care. This includes health promotion and disease and injury prevention for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
