Overview

Communications & Marketing Specialist - MATERNITY LEAVE COVERAGE

  • Increase, maintain, and oversee both Member and Prospective Member engagement through effective communications that enhance membership value via Websites, Blog, Email, App, and Social Media.
  • Manage and oversee the CGoC websites, including page development, content creation, and updates within a content management system.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to Brand Guidelines.

Major Responsibilities

Member Communications for CGoC

  • Create, collaborate on, edit, and send all Member communications, including bi-weekly newsletters, referral campaigns, and department promotions.
  • Liaise with the communications committee for editorial oversight and brand adherence.
  • Collaborate with managers & GMs to ensure campaigns are timely, engaging, and on-brand.
  • Coordinate with GMs to manage email frequency and make adjustments as needed.
  • Create, edit, and send communications to Alumni.
  • Ensure all Member-focused events are well communicated across Clubs.
  • Provide monthly metrics on Member communications engagement.
  • Manage the CGoC Member App inbox and support member / staff inquiries.
  • Create and send email communications to Clinic patients.
  • Maintain and update Member databases for current and new Members.
  • Coordinate with head office to update MailChimp audiences.
Content Management of CGoC Websites
  • Coordinate with GMs, the executive team, and agencies to keep websites updated and optimized.
  • Build and publish new pages for programs, events, and promotions.
  • Work with developers and copywriters on new website modules and pages.
  • Manage data changes from department managers.
  • Update event calendars regularly.
  • Gather and report web analytics monthly and weekly.
Living Well Blog Editor
  • Edit and generate content on health and wellness themes.
  • Manage content calendar with blog contributors.
  • Use social channels and email marketing to promote the blog.
Videography & Photography Content
  • Edit videos for reels and ads to promote the Clubs.
  • Assist in scripting and editing video productions.
  • Coordinate photography and videography projects for web, digital, and print use.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Manage weekly communications meetings with the team and GMs.
  • Update the Internal Marketing Task List regularly.
  • Maintain fresh content on Clinic perimeter screens with GMs and Graphic Designer.
  • Support CGoC staff with communications requests.
