We are currently accepting applications for volunteers interested in working as a Communications Assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Helping to implement internal and external communications strategies and projects
  • Providing administrative / outreach support to internal teams
  • Design social media content and newsletter layouts
  • Drafting, creating, and posting social media and web content according to the company\'s social media strategy
  • Drafting and copy-editing highlights / news stories of CCAT programs
  • Helping draft an ongoing communications calendar for all communication platforms
Qualifications
  • Graphic design experience is essential
  • Experience in communications, marketing, or related field
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of social media strategies and media relations
  • Above-average knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X
  • Comprehensive experience with Canva, Office 365, Adobe Pro, Constant Contact, and other related software programs

Location : Toronto

Hours : Flexible
