Qualifications

We are recruiting for a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Executive for a leading independent brokerage in the Vaughan, ON area.

Responsibilities :

  • Book Management : Manage a book of medium to large size commercial insurance accounts, working closely with principals and account associates.
  • Risk Assessment : Conduct risk assessment of clients' operations, determine appropriate insurance coverages, and develop risk management strategies.
  • Relationship Management : Negotiate coverages and rates with underwriters, conduct renewal reviews, and collaborate with the claims department during negotiations.

Desired Skills :

  • RIBO License required with minimum 3 years' experience in commercial lines at a brokerage or insurance company.
  • Willing to complete CAIB, CIP, and / or CRM designations (completed designations are an asset).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
