Job description

The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud environments within Client Investment Management, including AWS and Azure platforms. Working within the Cloud Security and Risk Management organization, this role collaborates with Compliance, Governance, and Security functions to develop scalable, secure solutions while driving integration and convergence across cloud service providers. The engineer partners with stakeholders to align security requirements and mitigate risks within development pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud security solutions for AWS and Azure environments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements (GLBA, SOX, SOC, regulatory agencies, Internal Audit).
  • Support DevOps/CICD pipeline security enhancements
  • Communicate business risks related to information security and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide technical leadership in architecture and security design.
  • Oversee security configurations for multiple computing platforms, including Windows, OSX, Linux, Unix, networks, and endpoints.
  • Utilize tools such as Cherwell and ServiceNow for configuration and change management.
  • Drive best practices in modern security and development methodologies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience in information security, with a focus on application and infrastructure security.
  • Expertise in cloud security for AWS and Azure environments.
  • Strong experience with compliance frameworks and audit engagement.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Technical leadership experience, including architecture, security design, and development practic es.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and security operations within cloud environments.
