Job summary

A regional health authority in Port Alberni is seeking a Clinical Nurse Leader. Qualifications

  • Graduation from a recognized nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • 3-5 years' recent clinical experience, with 2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in day-to-day operations of assigned unit/service area.
  • Coordinate and facilitate daily clinical activities ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Act as communication liaison between multi‑disciplinary team members.
  • Supervise staff and assist with professional development.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and development of the operating plan.
  • Lead quality and risk management activities.
