Clinical Homecare Nurse - Torbay (Part Time)

We are seeking a dedicated NMC registered nurse to join our healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care and administering a range of medications. This role requires a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and a patient-first approach.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient observations and ensure that any patient is fit to proceed with their treatment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
  • Provide compassionate support to the patient and family
  • Educate patients and their families to promote understanding and independence
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams ensuring that patient safety is paramount
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration
  • Experience of administering S/C, IM or IV medications
  • SACT experience
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Willingness to work autonomously
  • Attention to detail
Working pattern

15 hours per week worked over 2 days a week (to be agreed with hiring manager)

Salary and Benefits
  • Starting salary circa £36,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
  • Car allowance up to £4,500 per annum
