Seen Heard Found Counselling provides mental health care for all ages, with a specialty in trauma-related disorders. We welcome all mental health concerns, offering services through a combination of holistic and structured approaches. Our therapists work closely with clients to craft uniquely specific mental healthcare plans. We are a neurodiverse clinic with highly skilled and talented, neurodiverse practitioners.

Role Description

We are looking for independent Clinical Counsellors (LCT/LCT-C, MSW) or other licensed professionals with a focus on whole-person approaches to healing. Our office is located in Saint John, NB, with some opportunities to work from home. The Clinical Counsellor will be responsible for providing counselling services, managing cases, and engaging in therapy sessions for a wide variety of mental health needs. Day-to-day tasks include assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and working collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Master\'s level education in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Valid certification or licensure to practice as a Clinical Counsellor in New Brunswick
  • Case Management skills
  • Experience working with a variety of mental health concerns
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop tailored treatment plans and conduct therapy sessions
  • Experience in trauma-related disorders is an advantage
  • Experience in working with ADHD, autism, and other neurodiverse populations an asset
  • Familiarity with online scheduling platforms
  • Group counselling experience is an asset
  • Bilingual/multilingual is an asset
  • Experience working with children and youth an asset
  • Specialized training and/or certification in advanced modalities and asset
