Overview

Our client, Entraco, founded in 1982, is a leader in the environmental field, offering cutting-edge expertise in environmental site assessment (from phase I to III) and in water characterization. The company responds to complex environmental challenges with effective and practical solutions, supported by a team of qualified professionals and technicians working in various fields related to environmental management and auditing.

Available work locations: Longueuil

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out the practical activities necessary for the completion of projects, including inspection, maintenance, repair, sampling, testing, installation and handling of equipment.
  • Prepare site activities: equipment, calibration, loading, etc.
  • Develop and develop boreholes for observation wells.
  • Carry out sampling of soils, sediments, as well as surface and groundwater (boreholes, wells, trenches).
  • Carry out permeability tests and field measurements.
  • Measure physical, chemical and climatic parameters in the field, as well as raising water levels.
  • Install and uninstall equipment on construction sites.
  • Supervise and carry out field work.
  • Locate sampling stations.
  • Manage samples and write site reports.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment and vehicles after each construction site.
  • Perform other related tasks as required by the construction site.
Required Skills and Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • ASP-Construction certification, confined space entry, an asset.
  • Autonomy, dynamism, punctuality, flexibility, diplomacy.
  • Ability to integrate well into a team and contribute to its development.
  • Good learning and adaptability skills.
  • Ability to obtain a reliability and security rating.
Training
  • College diploma (DEC) in characterization and rehabilitation, civil engineering technology, environment, natural environment or a related field.
