Certified Millwright – Grande Prairie OSB

Reporting to the Mechanical Team Lead, the Certified Millwright is a key member of our Maintenance Team – ensuring the safe & reliable repair of process equipment and effective preventative maintenance practices.

You’ll Do
  • Demonstrate 100% commitment towards completing all tasks safely
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve items impacting process equipment
  • Active involvement with predictive and preventative maintenance
  • Effectively complete safety and mechanical inspections
  • Execute safe lifts using hoisting, rigging, proper slings & shackles
  • Provide insight with root cause analysis of mechanical failure
  • Participate in effective housekeeping of clean & organized work areas
You Have
  • Red Seal Millwright certification
  • Minimum of five (5) years of millwright experience in an industrial environment; preference given to those with forest product experience
  • Ability to carry out light fabrication and welding tasks will be considered an asset
  • Relentless commitment to safe work practices
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Effective communication and computer skills
