Job summary

A global engineering company is seeking a Certification & Authorization Engineer to ensure the successful definition and execution of the Certification Plan. The role involves managing certification assessors, overseeing compliance processes, and working across teams. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in engineering, have at least 3 years of experience in relevant fields, and be bilingual in French and English. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in the railway, automotive, or aerospace domains.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in train system knowledge.
• Experience in managing technical requirements from customers and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and challenge legal certification requirements.
• Manage and follow up with Certification Assessors.
• Prepare and submit certification documentation to stakeholders.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your certification expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll ensure the successful definition and execution of the Certification Plan to obtain the Authorization to Put In Service. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and external stakeholders), manage certification assessors, and oversee compliance documentation processes, among other responsibilities.

You’ll specifically take care of defining the Certification Management Plan and planning certification tasks, but also identifying and challenging legal requirements.

We’ll look to you for:

• Defining the means of proof to demonstrate compliance with certification requirements
• Preparing and submitting certification documentation to stakeholders and managing Q&A
