Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Catering Sales Manager, you will be working with our Sales team to represent the organization in a professional manner and ensure consistent high quality customer service is delivered to all guests and prospective clients. You will be responsible for effectively selling room nights, public spaces, food & beverage, and function planning services, focusing on social events, including weddings, and maximizing revenues and profits of the hotel.

Key knowledge, skills or abilities that are required:

  • Minimum 1-year hospitality sales work experience. A focus on weddings and special events preferred.
  • A degree, diploma or certification in hospitality, event planning, sales or marketing is preferred.
  • Ability to work long hours occasionally.
  • Excellent computer skills - MS Office, CRM software, and the ability to learn new and customized software programs quickly and efficiently.
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation is an asset.
