A local education authority in Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking a Casual Educational Assistant to provide support to students with special needs across various schools. Candidates should have relevant diplomas and experience in education or supportive roles. Responsibilities include assisting teachers and meeting students’ hygiene and physical needs. Immediate start is available.
$22.26 to $28.92 per hour
As a Casual Educational Assistant, you will work on call in short-term and long-term assignments at multiple schools throughout the diverse communities of Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board including Hamilton Mountain, Hamilton Downtown, Waterdown, Flamborough, Dundas, Ancaster, Mount Hope, Binbrook, Stoney Creek and Winona.
As a Member Of a Multidisciplinary Team Of Professionals, You Will Provide a Range Of Supportive Interventions For Students Who Exhibit Self-regulation, Social, Emotional, Physical, And/or Medical Needs. This Could Include, But Is Not Limited To
