Job Overview

We are hiring Red Seal Certified Carpenters to join a skilled team specializing in the fabrication and assembly of structural wood components. This role involves working with a variety of materials and integrated systems, including steel connectors, cables, castings, and prefabricated panels that incorporate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate layout and construction.
  • Perform steel fitting and sanding to achieve high-quality finishes.
  • Operate power and air tools such as drills, skill saws, and sanders for precision work.
  • Package components and assist with general shop clean-up.
  • Support on-site tasks including prepping, flying, landing, and stitching roof panels.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Red Seal Certification in Carpentry is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience, including framing, cabinetry, and finishing.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools including drills, saws, hammers, and measuring tapes.
  • Comfortable measuring in both Imperial and Metric units.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing or production carpentry.
  • Familiarity with overhead cranes.
  • Exposure to sawmill or wood planing equipment.
  • Experience in structural wood fabrication is an asset.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
Work Environment
  • Work is primarily performed in a wood production facility.
  • Use of hand and specialty carpentry tools; training provided as needed.
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple projects in progress.
  • Clear communication is essential on an open production floor with proper ventilation.
  • Approximately 50 employees on site.
  • Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits
