Coquitlam School District invites applications for Casual Caretakers. As the third largest school district in the province, we are located within a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The school district has a population of 34,000 students with approximately 4,400 teaching, administrative, managerial and support staff.
Working under the Senior Caretaking Manager/designate, Caretakers are responsible for performing general custodial services and related duties as assigned in a timely process, in order to ensure the buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.
These positions are designed to replace absent employees. There is no guarantee of hours. Applicants must be available 6 days per week and work a variety of shifts (morning, afternoon, and nights) including weekends.
This is an on-call casual unionized position which offers $28.48 an hour plus 16% in lieu of benefits.
