Overview

Role Description
  • Will include, but not be limited to Perform analysis of high-level requirements to create high-level solution designs for complex corporate projects.Mapping requirements and identifying where high-level solutions add business value.Perform system analysis and consulting for complex systems and integration.
  • Develop AS-IS and TO-BE solution models and ensure business rules are defined and applied to the solution.Align team to corporate best practices, standards, templates, and implement business simplification, where applicable.Collaborate with business units to gather project estimates (labor, hardware, software application and licenses, and ongoing support).Oversee business process simplification and business process re-engineering.
  • Perform general project consulting throughout the SDLC (pre and post business case). Maintain current knowledge of technical advancements (new methodologies, standards, guidelines and tools) as they pertain to application development and support.Research, develop, document and present alternatives for business options and solutions.Create high level and detailed business process workflows, context diagrams, functional design documents, use cases, wireframe mockups, decision tables as needed to describe andor communicate business, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Create a detailed Business Analysis Plan for each project assignment. Performs as the requirement team leader to lead activities including co-ordination, assignment of tasks, and mentor junior resources. Critically evaluate information gathered to determine the true needs of the business to produce high and detailed level requirements.Perform task and workflow analysis to model current and future state of business systems and business processes.Perform ongoing requirements management, documentation and traceability between solution designs and document accordingly.
  • Liaison between Business Stakeholders the technical solution providers development, testing and support teams.Assist in creation of change requests with supporting analysis and alternatives.Ensure the correct interpretation of requirements with the development and test teams via design inspections, test scenarios, and data.Maintain skills and stay current with IT andor Industry Trends.Ensure all project documentation and knowledge transfer to employees is completed prior to the end of the contract term.
Requirements

Experience (Years) : 8-10

Essential Skills : Hands-on working experience architecting Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions, including customization and integration. Guidewire certification is a plus.Other technologies of interest : Guidewire Cloud, Salesforce CRM, legacy modernization, and AWS. Proven knowledge & architecture experience in, architecture (digital / digital marketing / micro / macro / monolithic services, APIs), application integration, service-oriented architecture, event-driven architecture, application architecture, distributed architecture, data architecture and modelling.Proven experience with modelling languages & techniques. Can quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies. Can understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations. Strong technical background (platforms, languages, protocols, frameworks, open source, etc.).Experience with architecture frameworks (TOGAF) & architecture certifications a plus.Experience in engaging and supporting claims teams and understanding their day-to-day operations in the P&C insurance space. Open and clear connect with the business, telecom, infrastructure, security, audit, vendors, and software engineering. Driven by challenges and results.Organized, proactive and a motivation for change.Knowledge on security standard methodologies and understand the impacts it can have on a business.Comfortable working in a constantly evolving technological environment.An excellent teammate who demonstrates leadership.
