We have developed Funeral 365, an innovative ERP solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, dedicated to the funeral sector and already adopted by international clients to facilitate digital transformation.

What you will do on a daily basis

You will assist our clients in implementing the funeral module connected to the financial module of Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring a consistent deployment between the parent company and its subsidiaries, tailored to the industry specifics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pre-sales architects to assess solution feasibility, estimate effort, and determine impacts on existing processes.
• Contribute to the project plan in coordination with the Project Manager, including definition, sequencing, and prioritization of activities.
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, analyze functional gaps, document requirements, and design the functional architecture for each client context.
• Collaborate with technical experts (SMEs) to establish a robust solution architecture with clear documentation of functional and technical requirements.
• Support clients by providing recommendations and implementing financial guidelines and procedures that meet their needs and align with best practices.
• Write detailed functional specifications based on client needs to ensure clarity and usability for technical teams.
• Prepare test scenarios, coordinate and participate in functional testing (UAT), identify issues, validate fixes, and ensure the solution meets defined requirements.
• Monitor and validate key project milestones, confirming completion of critical deliverables before moving to the next phase.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, respond to questions about deployed solutions, and follow up on requests.
• Document the final solution and organize a structured knowledge transfer to the support team or end-users to ensure sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; a professional accounting title from the CPA Order is an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of experience consulting on financial ERP modules of Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC).
• Experience as an accountant (3 years) is a plus.
• Experience with an add-on or vertical module on Dynamics 365 BC is an asset.
• Strong understanding of financial operations: general ledger, financial statements, AP/AR, treasury, fixed assets, billing, financial reporting, multi-currency, and multi-company setups.
• Proficiency in French and advanced English are required due to client communication outside Quebec.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• MB-800 Dynamics 365 BC Functional Associate certification is a plus.

• Contribuer à l’élaboration du plan de projet en coordination avec le chef de projet, incluant la définition, le séquencement et la priorisation des activités.
• Animer des ateliers de collecte des besoins, analyser les écarts fonctionnels, documenter les exigences et concevoir l’architecture fonctionnelle adaptée au contexte client.
• Collaborer avec les experts techniques (PME) pour établir une architecture de solution solide et documenter clairement les exigences fonctionnelles et techniques.
• Accompagner les clients avec des recommandations et déployer des lignes directrices et procédures financières répondant à leurs besoins et conformes aux meilleures pratiques.
• Rédiger des spécifications fonctionnelles détaillées et assurer leur clarté pour les équipes techniques.
• Préparer des scénarios de tests, coordonner et participer aux tests fonctionnels (UAT), identifier les problèmes, valider les correctifs et garantir le respect des exigences.
• Suivre les jalons clés du projet et confirmer la réalisation des livrables.
• Servir de point de contact pour les clients et assurer le suivi des demandes.
• Documenter la solution et organiser un transfert de connaissances à l’équipe de support ou aux utilisateurs finaux.

Qualifications

• Baccalauréat en comptabilité; un titre professionnel comptable est un atout.
• Minimum 3 ans d’expérience en consultation sur les modules financiers ERP de Dynamics 365 BC.
• Expérience en comptabilité (3 ans) est un atout.
• Expérience avec un add-on ou module vertical sur Dynamics 365 BC est un atout.
• Bonne compréhension des opérations financières (grand livre, états financiers, comptes fournisseurs et clients, trésorerie, immobilisations, facturation, rapports financiers, multi-devises et multi-sociétés).
• Maîtrise du français et anglais avancé requis pour communiquer avec des clients hors Québec.
• Des déplacements occasionnels peuvent être requis.
