Agropur is looking for a Business Process Optimization Analyst, Quality to join its team in St‑Hubert for a temporary 12‑month period.
As a Process Optimization Analyst, Quality, you will play a strategic role at the heart of the implementation of our new SAP ERP and related systems. You will be responsible for defining processes and business requirements while actively contributing to optimizing, improving, simplifying, and standardizing organizational practices. Leveraging industry best practices, you will support the entire organization — particularly the Finance teams — in optimizing key processes. Your ability to challenge the status quo, propose innovative approaches, and mobilize stakeholders will make you a key ambassador and leader in establishing a culture of continuous improvement.

- Salary scale 005: $82,600 to $103,200 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)
What this role involves:
More specifically, as a Process Optimization Analyst, Quality, your responsibilities include:
- Determine the best ways to integrate SAP to optimize financial and accounting processes.
- Support the harmonization of processes across different countries and ensure alignment with the standard solution.
- Assess the needs of finance teams and plants through process analysis, collaboration, and on‑site observations.
- Identify improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance.
- Lead optimization initiatives (automation, process improvements, reduction of pain points).
- Support users: answer questions, resolve incidents, provide guidance on functionalities, procedures, and best practices.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert and offer ongoing functional support.
- Develop and animate the super‑user community by enhancing knowledge, creating training tools, and fostering networking.
- Collaborate with teams and experts across different sites, departments, and countries to ensure process alignment and consistency.
- Contribute to solution design: identify and document options, model processes, and define requirements.
- Translate business needs into specifications for IT and development teams.
- Participate in testing, follow up on fixes, and support deployments with teams.
- Implement performance measures and indicators (balanced scorecard) to track results and reduce variability in critical finance processes.
- Encourage change adoption, propose creative business solutions, and optimize existing processes.
- Travel required (Canada/USA) approximately 20% of the time.
- Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Follow safety protocols and report or stop any hazardous activity.
- Identify or correct potential safety risks.
- Support safety policies and programs.
What you need to join our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. (An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.)
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a business analyst in a financial or accounting environment, particularly with systems such as SAP (FICO), Vistex, or CUT.
- Training in continuous improvement (Lean, Asset) — an asset.
- Experience implementing change management strategies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with leaders, managers, colleagues, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Bilingualism French/English, spoken and written (required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and specialized software related to the role.
- Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret information and work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong results orientation, determination to exceed objectives, and ability to mobilize oneself and others toward positive outcomes.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge, ability to quickly learn new tools or methods, and achieve a high level of mastery.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
