Position Summary

The Business Operations Analyst provides support to the growth and operations function by assisting with analysis, coordination, documentation, and cross-functional follow-up. This role supports initiatives, operational projects, and leadership priorities by helping track progress, organize information, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

This is an ideal role for a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented recent graduate seeking to build a career in business operations and growth while gaining exposure to executive-level thinking and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Operational Support

  • Assist with research, data gathering, and analysis related to initiatives.
  • Support the preparation of briefing notes, summaries, and internal materials for leadership discussions.
  • Help translate priorities into documented plans, timelines, and task lists.
  • Track key initiatives and flag risks, delays, or dependencies to leadership.

Data, Reporting & Documentation

  • Assist with maintaining accurate records related to KPIs, and other relevant metrics.
  • Enter, update, and organize information in internal systems, spreadsheets, and trackers.
  • Support the preparation of basic reports, dashboards, and status updates.
  • Ensure documents and materials are well-organized and version-controlled.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication

  • Assist with coordinating inputs from different teams.
  • Support follow-up on action items and deliverables across departments.
  • Help communicate timelines, updates, and next steps to internal stakeholders.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist in identifying process gaps or inefficiencies.
  • Support documentation of workflows and recommended improvements.
  • Learn and apply best practices in business operations and execution.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelors degree (or near completion) in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in internships, co-op roles, or entry-level business/operations roles.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); comfort working with data is required.

  • Exposure to business operations, analytics, project coordination, or consulting-style work.
  • Experience tracking tasks, deadlines, or projects (academic or professional).
  • Strong follow-up and execution skills.
