What is the Opportunity?

This role supports the Business Management team within Business and Client Service Technology, helping to ensure smooth, transparent operations and effective governance. You'll oversee the IT portfolio and champion ongoing improvements across the organization.

What will you do?
  • The position leads the business management function within Business and Client Service Technology (BCST) and manages all aspects of the IT planning process, including development, maintenance, NIE, strategy, and communications.
  • The manager develops, provides, and monitors metrics for the BCST group, identifying gaps and recommending process improvements.
  • This role is critical in driving the annual work plan across multiple global IT teams and coordinating control functions for projects and the overall BCST group.
  • Additionally, the position oversees the BCST project onboarding process and related project and financial governance activities.
  • In this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have
  • 2-5 years of work experience (preferably in banking)
  • Proficiency in Python and Django web framework development is required
  • Experience in forecasting / budget planning
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office Programs (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Word) and Tableau
  • Analytics and presentation skills
  • Strong communication skillsUndergraduate Degree preferably in Business or Computer Science
