Overview

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Sponsor Services - Strategic Enablement team, supporting a wide range of functions including Client services, New Group Implementation, GRS New Business and Business Operations (policy services, billing and payment administration, and enrolment services).

This role is critical in transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence, improve client experience, and support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with business leaders and operational teams to ensure data-driven solutions are at the heart of our service delivery.

What You Will Do
  • Deliver Business Insights: Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Partner with stakeholders to model the impact of potential business strategies and measure success of implemented initiatives.
  • Develop BI Solutions: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models that enable real-time decision-making across client services and operations.
  • Problem Solve with Data: Identify root causes of operational challenges on customer experience and quantify the business impact of proposed solutions.
  • Champion Data Quality & Innovation: Drive improvements in data integrity and explore new tools and technologies to optimize analytics capabilities.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in data analytics or BI, preferably in financial services or insurance
  • Proficiency in SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Databricks, Alteryx, Azure Data Platform)
  • Experience with data modeling, visualization, and statistical analysis
  • Understanding of insurance operations and key performance metrics
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities
  • Innovative mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment

The base salary for this position is between $52,800.00 - $97,700.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
