Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Canada. This is a hybrid full-time role, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Customer Analytics. As a Business Intelligence Analyst Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide valuable insights into user behavior, their product usage patterns, and identifying opportunities for growth. You will help create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the stakeholders. Furthermore, you will use your expertise in creating and editing visual content, including maps, charts, and graphs, and transforming data sets into visually compelling visuals. You will also provide visual, technical, and editorial guidance to ensure the highest quality of data visualizations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to understand business needs and requirements for data analysis

  • Design and develop data models, dashboards, reports, and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders

  • Create and edit visual content, including maps, charts, and graphs, to provide visual representations of data insights

  • Transform quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals that effectively communicate important information

  • Use advanced statistical techniques to analyze and interpret complex datasets

  • Provide expert-level visual, technical, and editorial guidance to ensure the highest quality of data visualizations

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analysis and visualization techniques

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and provide recommendations on the most effective visual representation of data

  • Conduct quality checks on visual content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines

  • Communicate complex data insights through visually compelling presentations and reports, tailored to different audiences

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role

  • Expertise in statistical analysis, data modelling, and data visualisation

  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js

  • Experience working with large datasets and proficiency in SQL

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R

  • Samples / examples showcasing previous data analysis and visualization projects
