Confidential Company

Are you a results-driven deal-maker ready to grow something big?

An established and growth-minded player in the 3PL warehousing and distribution space is seeking a strategic and motivated Business Development Manager to drive new revenue and strengthen market position across Alberta.

If you’re energized by uncovering new business opportunities, love turning leads into long-term partnerships, and understand how to connect operational capability with client needs — this could be your next career move.

What You’ll Do:

Lead Strategic Growth:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and clients aligned with regional growth strategy.

Drive sales initiatives within defined industry verticals, helping the company grow market share and revenue.

Client-Focused Sales Execution:

Respond to inbound inquiries with urgency and professionalism, prepare proposals, and lead the quoting and onboarding process.

Conduct facility tours, develop solutions tailored to client needs, and negotiate win-win partnerships.

Represent the brand externally—at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events.

Collaborate Across the Business:

Work closely with executive leadership and operations to ensure seamless onboarding and scalable solutions.

Report on performance, pricing trends, and competitor activities while contributing to the annual budget planning process.

A seasoned B2B sales professional with at least 7 years’ experience (preferably in 3PL warehousing or logistics).

A self-starter with a knack for identifying prospects, building trust, and converting opportunities into results.

A relationship builder who thrives on human connection and understands the long game of business development.

Experienced in CRM tools, business case development, and confident delivering presentations to senior decision-makers.

Known for your strategic mindset, financial acumen, and adaptability in dynamic markets.

Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Confidence with MS Office and CRM systems.

A valid driver’s license and flexibility for some travel (10–30% monthly).

Why You’ll Love This Role:

You’ll have freedom to explore new markets, backed by a capable operations team ready to deliver.

You’ll work with senior leadership that values your insight, input, and market intelligence.

You’ll be selling mission-critical, logistics-focused services that solve real-world supply chain problems.

And best of all, you’ll play a key role in a growing company’s future success — while growing your own.
