Specific Responsibilities:

Business Development/Sales/Marketing:

  • Identify and document prospective opportunities in their CRM system, ensuring timely updates and understanding customer requirements.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and maintain a robust client relationship program.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, respond to inquiries promptly, and advocate for continuous improvement in customer experience.
  • Drive marketing strategy through collaboration with our marketing department and attend professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure timely receipt of RFQs and collaborate with the estimating team in proposal preparation.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions in line with company policies and review final purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Follow up with clients post-proposal submission to gather competitive intelligence.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Contribute to enhancing sales and estimating processes, applying knowledge of risk management.
  • Support strategic capacity-building exercises to drive organizational growth.

Reporting Relationships/Accountabilities:

  • Report to the Senior Vice President, Business Development and Engineering.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in selling custom-manufactured equipment, with international experience favored.
  • Demonstrated people leadership and strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience in strategic planning and executing sales pipeline strategies.
  • Robust Network in Oil, Gas, Energy, and Petrochemical Industries.
  • US Travel and Sales Experience would be considered an asset.
