Description

Shape the future of connectivity — lead the transformation driving growth, impact, and innovation nationwide.

Our team and what we’ll accomplish together

We are transforming how TELUS connects communities across Canada — and we’re just getting started. As a Business Consultant on the System Experience Evolution (SEE) team, you’ll be at the center of a national movement that blends innovation, purpose, and execution.

You’ll join our team of experts driving systems and process transformations enabling market expansion, local engagement, and customer growth through the power of PureFibreMC. This is a team that thrives on momentum — fast-paced, highly collaborative, and united by a shared passion for delivering impact where it matters most.

If you’re energized by big goals, inspired by teamwork, and ready to help shape the most exciting growth programs, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do

You're the catalyst for high‑impact work across the business: detailing business requirements for critical systems, facilitating executive workshops, aligning capability roadmaps, and supporting new market launches. You'll keep our programs on track — ensuring Canada's best team continues to deliver results that matter by:

  • Leading strategic initiatives measured by project outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction, and tangible business impact
  • Solving complex, ambiguous business challenges with clear, actionable strategies
  • Partnering cross‑functionally with product, marketing, CIO, and operations teams to drive alignment and execution
  • Designing future‑ready solutions — develop requirements, implement strategic projects, and optimize systems for scale
  • Empowering leadership decisions through data‑driven insights and compelling storytelling that connects performance to impact
  • Identifying growth opportunities by improving execution, elevating customer experience, and accelerating delivery across community builds and customer programs
  • Championing collaboration — ensuring milestones, wins, and learnings are shared and celebrated across our national team
Qualifications

What you bring

  • 7–10 years of professional experience, with minimum 5 years in a business consulting role
  • Telecom industry experience — deep understanding of the sector
  • Cross‑functional leadership — proven ability to unite diverse teams and perspectives to deliver cohesive, high‑impact outcomes
  • Collaborative influence — experience partnering with VPs, Directors, and senior leaders; skilled at influencing without authority
  • Comfort with ambiguity — you create clarity, structure, and momentum in fast‑evolving environments
  • Strong business and financial acumen — you understand the numbers and the strategy behind them
  • Analytical proficiency — skilled in using data and dashboards to track performance and drive accountability
  • Proactive and solution‑oriented — curious, initiative‑driven, and energized by shaping ambitious growth programs
  • Strategic execution background — ability to connect high‑level vision to on‑the‑ground delivery

Great‑to‑haves

  • IIBA certification
  • Familiarity with TELUS systems and processes
  • Experience with AI/ML pipelines, LLMs, or NLP applications
  • University degree in business, communications, project management, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of English is required because you will occasionally interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position’s main responsibilities given its provincial scope.

Salary Range: $87,000-$131,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:

  • Comprehensive total rewards package highlighting competitive salary and bonus structures, minimum 3 weeks of vacation, and flexible benefits plan to meet the needs of you and your family
  • Flexibility to work in‑office, virtually or a combination of both
  • Generous company matched pension and share purchase programs
  • Opportunity to give back to communities in which we work, live and serve
  • Career growth and learning & development opportunities to develop your skills
  • And much more …
