Job Description

Partner across I.T., Operations, and business line(s) to assess, research, and analyze business, technical and system needs in order to resolve business systems enhancements and issues by recommending and owning technology solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs. In addition, collaborates with the PDO, Quality Engineering, and 3rd party vendor teams to execute project deliverables.

What will you do?
  • Understand and capture business requirements, and translate them to functional specifications.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and solutioning for financial market and investments data.
  • Lead complex group meetings (including business partners) for problem solving, decision making and implementation planning.
  • Provide technical expertise and assist Development and QA teams during Projects execution
  • Provide efficient second tier support to critical applications.
  • Provide direction, expertise, feedback, coaching, and development to build the capabilities of more junior staff.
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience as a business system analyst
  • Strong understanding of Investment Management business domain and concepts, e.g. discretionary vs non-discretionary management, rebalancing, trading, various instrument and asset class types, performance RoR, UMA, etc.
  • Proven ability to acquire deep functional understanding of new Wealth Management solutions.
  • Excellent data analysis with experience in performing integration between different data systems and define their interfaces.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines amongst different projects and priorities.
  • Proficient in SQL querying in order to perform data mining and data analysis.
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience working with different project methodologies; Agile, Waterfall
