Qualifications

• Considerable progressive experience as a technologist, including contract administration and building inspections.
• Significant experience with industry-standard construction contracts.
• Ability to estimate construction costs for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all projects comply with relevant Design and Construction Standards.
• Conduct detailed plan and specification reviews.
• Provide contract administration services and monitor the work of various stakeholders.

Skills

Knowledge of architectural and building technology

Knowledge of BC Building Code

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Critical thinking and decision-making

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Diploma from a building, engineering, or architectural technology program

Eligible for designation as an Engineer, Quality Surveyor, Architect, Technologist
