About Stickler

Stickler is a premium ready-to-drink cocktail brand built for people who are a stickler for the details – real flavour, real ingredients, and a better drink experience. Founded in Alberta, Stickler is expanding across Western Canada with a focus on liquor retail, high-quality on-premise partners, and experiential activations tied to food, music, and culture.

Role Purpose

The Brand Ambassador & Territory Brand Manager will own brand presence, advocacy, and commercial momentum for Stickler across Alberta and British Columbia. This role blends brand building, field sales support, and event execution, acting as the primary face of Stickler in the trade and at consumer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own priority liquor retail and on-premise accounts across Alberta and BC.
  • Build relationships with store managers, buyers, and licensees to grow distribution and visibility.
  • Execute retail standards: facings, displays, pricing integrity, and POS.
  • Plan and lead samplings, tastings, festivals and brand activations.
  • Train retail and on-premise staff on Stickler product and brand story.
  • Capture field insights, photos, and feedback to inform sales and marketing.
  • Maintain disciplined reporting on visits, activations, and execution quality.
  • Ensure compliance with AGLC and BCL regulations.
Agency Collaboration & Accountability
  • Workhand in hand with The Beverage Collectivesales agency to ensure tight alignment between brand, field execution, and commercial priorities.
  • Collaborate actively on lead development, account targeting, and follow-ups, ensuring opportunities generated in the field are properly qualified, documented, and advanced in coordination with the agency team.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with The Beverage Collective, keeping them up to date on market feedback, account intelligence, competitive activity, and execution status.
  • Support agency efforts by sharing timely field insights, photos, activation results, and retailer feedback to strengthen sell-in and buyer conversations.
  • Help ensure agency accountability by tracking execution against agreed priorities, flagging gaps or missed follow-ups, and contributing to continuous improvement in territory performance.
  • Act as a connector between brand strategy and agency execution, ensuring everyone is working from the same information, timelines, and objectives.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 2–5 years experience in beverage alcohol, CPG, or hospitality-related field roles.
  • Experience in brand ambassador, territory sales, or account management roles preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently in the field.
  • ProServe (AB) and Serving It Right (BC) certification required.
  • Valid and in date driver’s license and willingness to travel, as well as carrying a commercial or business related use insurance policy in your name.
  • Comfort working evenings and weekends for events.

Compensation Summary

Base Salary: $48,000 – $55,000 CAD

Target Bonus: 10–15% of base ($5,000 – $7,500), tied to distribution, execution, and activation KPIs.

CRA mileage reimbursement.

Additional Benefits: Phone allowance, travel and event expense reimbursement, branded merchandise, and professional development support.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, market relationships, and demonstrated capability.
