Position : Bilingual Wills & Estate Clerk / Paralegal & Intake Coordinator (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities
- Wills and POA drafting : Draft wills, codicils and powers of attorney.
- Attend and witness signing meetings with lawyer and clients.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on file progress.
- Assist in the administration of estates, including preparing inventories of assets and liabilities.
- Take minutes and dictation, maintain filing systems, draft correspondence and scheduling meetings.
- Other general administrative work as required (e.g., answer calls, schedule appointments, conduct conflict searches, open files, etc.).
New Client Intake
- Answer incoming calls, emails, or website inquiries from potential clients.
- Provide information about the firm’s services, process and fees.
- Conduct initial screenings to determine case eligibility.
- Gather and accurately enter personal and case-related information into the case management and accounting system (e.g., Clio Grow, Clio Manage).
- Send Engagement letter and collect retainer funds.
- Verify client identification with Treefort or otherwise.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in wills and estate law.
- The ability to meet strict deadlines and to work independently with minimal training.
- Have advanced organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files at once.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, lawyers, and officials.
- Computer skills and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly.
- Willing to work out of our Rockland office a minimum of three days a week.
- Bilingual (English and French) is mandatory.
- Poste hybride.
