Responsibilities

• Provide support in deal execution and transaction management
• Develop financial models and analysis for potential and live transactions
• Conduct thorough research on companies and industries and delivery of concise summaries
• Use research tools to extract relevant background material for business development and transaction support
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external marketing materials
• Create presentations and pitch books to existing and potential clients
• Support client meetings and calls with the Vice President
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and execute client strategies
• Assist with due diligence processes of potential buyers or clients of PCA
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Manage project timelines and deliverables
• Other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with a focus in business, commerce, finance, economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, or other quantitative fields
• 1-3 years of work experience in the financial services with solid understanding of
• Cash flow, financial modeling, and valuation
• Inter-relations of net income, cash flow, and working capital
• Using research tools to extract relevant background material for business development and transaction support
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and in French
• Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong computer literacy with emphasis on PowerPoint presentation skills
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of financial and capital markets
• Understanding of accounting and financial statements
