About EF Educational Tours: We help teachers change students’ lives through educational travel. Our programs focus on experiential learning to spark curiosity, confidence, and self-awareness among students across Canada. Our mission is to open the world through education by facilitating cultural exposure and learning opportunities.

Role Overview: As an Educational Program Specialist, you will be part of our sales team, managing and growing a territory of existing and prospective clients. Your main responsibilities include making outbound sales calls to teachers nationwide, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting experiential learning travel programs to meet sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Acquire new customers and expand existing accounts to help launch travel programs and school trips.
  2. Manage your territory proactively, identifying and executing growth opportunities.
  3. Support clients throughout their journey — from inspiring tour leadership to ensuring safe and enjoyable trips.
  4. Forecast sales and meet monthly and quarterly targets.
  5. Enhance sales techniques through various communication channels including email, phone, online, and in-person meetings.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful travel experiences.
  7. Promote a product that impacts students’ lives while enjoying travel yourself.

Candidate Profile:

  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Motivated to start or advance a career in sales with a sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Goal-oriented, competitive, and persuasive with excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, quick, and strategic.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
  • Team player who is proactive and committed to going above and beyond.

Why Join Us?

  • Work in a vibrant downtown office with a collaborative team, voted one of Greater Toronto’s Top Places to Work in 2023. Enjoy free coffee and snacks.
  • Travel with your customers for free at least once a year to experience our products firsthand.
  • Access professional development through trainings, workshops, and talks with global leaders.
  • Participate in social groups and employee events.
  • Enjoy four weeks of paid vacation, 11 paid holidays, and wellness benefits.
  • Grow savings with a company RRSP match, comprehensive health coverage, and EF discounts.
  • Benefit from our flexible work program with up to two remote days per week.
  • Competitive salary with bonus potential.
