Job summary

A local hospitality service in Powell River is seeking a part-time staff member. Responsibilities include taking orders, providing table service, and maintaining a clean workspace. Candidates should possess a Serving it Right certification and preferably have some hospitality experience. Flexibility and the ability to work independently are essential. Competitive hourly wage offered.

Location: Powell River/qathet Regional District

Salary Or Wage: $17.85 to $18.50 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Type: Part Time

List of Duties

• Take counter-service orders and make drinks.
• Provide table service when possible. Bus tables.
• Sell off-sales. Take take-out orders over the phone.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Stock inventory and manage kegs.
• Handle cash.
• Execute opening and closing duties and extra duties in an efficient manner within scheduled hours.
• Communicate clearly and politely with other staff and guests.
• Extra or minimal hours available for someone interested in taking on Social Media and/or promotion/organizing events.
