Job description

We are a charming tea room in Almonte, seeking a part time baker and cook. We serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and desserts. We also do catering for special events, and custom cakes to order. All of our goodies are baked in house, and we prepare fresh soups, salads and sandwiches made to order. This is where you come in. Some kitchen and/or baking experience would be an asset, although we are willing to train the right candidate. Experience in, or an interest in learning about cake decorating would also be a bonus.

We are a small team, so versatility and the ability to work comfortably with others is crucial. You should be creative and resourceful, and passionate about food. In addition to baking and food preparation, your duties would include assisting with bussing tables, cleaning, and quite a bit of dishwashing.

Access to your own transportation is a must, as there is no public transit to Almonte.
