Profile

We are looking for an Avionics Engineer either in our Toronto or Calgary location to coordinate all technical aspects of assigned design projects, provides technical support to the production line, and assists with resolution of in-service problems and customer requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks related to the development and support of Avionics Systems for the aircraft product.
  • Participate in or lead conceptual definition, launch preparation, preliminary definition, detail definition, release, product certification and entry into service within the Engineering System.
  • Prepare or review technical requirements documents, system/ground/flight test procedures and reports, certification reports.
  • Integrate the development activity of avionics systems with internal and external groups as well as participating in meetings and reviews with certification authorities.
  • Support flight-testing including witnessing of tests may be required.
  • Support production, procurement, and customers as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience with the design, development, integration, and certification of avionics systems including Flight Management Systems.
  • Familiar with and understand pertinent TCCA, FAA and EASA rules and requirements.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software tools to produce presentations and reports.
