Job summary

A family-owned automotive franchise in Toronto is seeking a highly skilled technician to provide quality repairs and outstanding customer service. Applicants should have a valid G license and ideally be a licensed 310S technician, though non-310S licensed candidates with 5+ years of experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicles across various systems. Training will be provided, and successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid G license and provide a clean/current driver’s abstract.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Must be registered & current with the Ontario College of Trades.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Identify customer problems and symptoms.
• Comfortable working on all vehicle applications including brakes and exhaust.

Skills

Education

Licensed 310S technician or equivalent experience

Midas Lawrence is a family‑owned and operated franchise with an unrivaled reputation for excellence in quality of service and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking to expand our team with another highly skilled technician who can read and interpret work orders, identify customer problems and symptoms, and diagnose and repair vehicles within reasonable labor time frames. The technician must be comfortable working on all vehicle applications, including brakes, exhaust, suspension, steering, cooling/heating, air‑condition, emissions and diagnostic systems.

Hiring both licensed 310S technicians and experienced automotive technicians (5+ years experience). 313A is an asset.

Requirements:

• Able to work in a fast‑paced, demanding environment while paying careful attention to detail.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must have a valid G license and provide a clean/current driver’s abstract.
• Must own tools.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Must complete TBC University – Midas Training (training provided, TBD).
• Must be registered & current with the Ontario College of Trades.

Wages for 310S technicians start at $25–$35 per hour (depending on experience). Non‑310S licensed technicians are also welcome to apply.
