Morrey Auto Group - Burnaby is offering a position of a Full-Time Automotive Service Technician to join our growing Service Department.

We are hiring at Morrey Nissan Infiniti Burnaby and are looking for someone to fill a full-time position. If you're looking for a busy shop with high earning potential and working with a fantastic close-knit team, this is perfect for you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide timely and accurate technical advisement of vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections to client and internal vehicles in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner according to standardized and manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnosing of client vehicle concerns and documenting of concerns and repairs made
  • Inspect client and internal vehicles for both safety and operation and advising of necessary repairs
  • Provide guidance and training to assigned apprentices
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and proficiency in work carried out throughout the shop, as well as the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop tools
  • Translating customers’ repair problems into standard repair terminology while educating customers on maintenance and repair needs
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 3 Automotive or higher
  • 2+ Years of Automotive Technician experience required
  • HEV / EV experience an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Possess standardized set of automotive repair tools
  • Self-sufficient and can work both in a team and independently
  • Customer service oriented with a passion to build relationships with customers
