St Catharines - Hartzel Road Location
We are looking for an automotive service manager to oversee and coordinate all activities within the service department of a retail store that sells tires and automotive parts and provides mechanical services. Midas is dedicated to training our staff and promoting from within.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct automotive service technicians and shop operations
  • Deliver excellent customer service and sales, consulting with customers about their needs
  • Follow up with customers regarding services requested and estimated completion times
  • Oversee vehicle diagnostics, make recommendations, and source parts
  • Create and discuss pricing estimates, promote shop specials
  • Lead, train, and manage the team, aligning with company values
  • Supervise sales and service processes
  • Oversee diagnostics and repairs of domestic and imported vehicles and light trucks
  • Maintain inventory levels
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of store or service management experience
  • Basic automotive knowledge; mechanic experience preferred
  • Leadership skills
  • Flexible schedule including rotating half-day Saturdays
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proven ability to increase sales and grow shop performance

Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
