Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Test Engineer to join a global technology management team on a 1-year contract basis. This is a crucial, standalone role based in Toronto, primarily responsible for covering the time zone difference with existing teams in India and Dublin.

Pay Rate

$70 CAD per hour - Incorporated

Must-Have Technical Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of test automation experience (may consider 1-2 years with demonstrated competency).
• Expertise with automated testing in Node.js.
• Experience with API Testing (at minimum Postman and REST API knowledge).
• Strong SQL database knowledge and query writing ability.
• Experience with UI testing.
• Ability to create test plans and test scripts independently.

Soft Skills Required

• Strong test mindset and analytical abilities.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Bonus)

• Python programming experience.
• Experience with Playwright.
• Experience with cloud integration projects.
• Knowledge of Java or .NET Core and NUnit.
• Experience with Selenium.

Interview Process Note

The hiring manager will be away starting December 18th/19th. We will try to accommodate some interviews before this date. All formal interviews will then be scheduled in the new year, starting on or after December 18th.
