We're currently seeking a versatileHearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologistto help establish a new hearing centreinSteinbach, MB. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for someone experienced clinically coupled with a keen interest in marketing and business growth.

What the role entails:

In your initial 30 days, you will undergo comprehensive training that familiarizes you with HearCANADA’s policies, procedures, and operational standards. This training will include a blend of in-person and virtual learning sessions.

During the following 30 days, your focus will shift to building brand awareness and cultivating community relationships in the local area, supported by a dedicated marketing team.

Upon the centre’s opening and ongoing, you will play a pivotal role in daily operations, delivering outstanding client care in hearing services.

What you will do:

  • Support existing and new clients in their hearing journey by providing an assortment of audiological assessments/diagnostics and hearing evaluations
  • Counselling patients in hearing health education, results, and solutions through our variety of products and services
  • Staying abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients
  • Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
  • Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls
  • Act as a liaison with physicians’ offices and other referral sources to maximize opportunities, and utilize effective marketing strategies to generate new business

What we're seeking:

  • Graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program
  • Registered with CASLPM (College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists in Manitoba)or NBC-HIS (National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences) in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of hearing health care products and services, with experience in diagnostics and dispensing
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a passion for business development and fostering community partnerships through marketing initiatives
  • Experience in event planning, lead generation, and business development considered a significant asset
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, and community partners
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office applications
