Welcome to Allandale Veterinary Hospital, a visionary 10,000+ sq ft facility in Barrie, Ontario, where awe-inspiring moments await. Our AAHA certified, feline-friendly practice is home to a team of about 70 staff members, with the majority Fear Free certified. We are conveniently located off Hwy 400 with ample parking for our team and clients.
We are eager to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to our growing family. Our spectrum of small animal services goes beyond the conventional, including rehabilitation, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. We have a special interest in reproduction with hospital progesterone, transcervical insemination, and caesarean sections. Our cutting-edge amenities include an underwater treadmill, IDEXX lab, dual ultrasound machines, orthopedics, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, 8 exam rooms, 1 comfort room, and 1 special procedures room. We encourage doctors to pursue their special interests with unwavering support.
Work-life harmony is a cornerstone of our ethos. Doctors work a 4-day week on average, with scheduling designed to support thriving both inside and outside the hospital. A dedicated exam room assistant will support you throughout your shift, lifting administrative weight to allow more time for client service.
