What You'll Do
  • Handle family law cases from start to finish.
  • Attend court, mediations, and meetings.
  • Draft legal documents and agreements.
  • Meet with clients and provide legal advice.
  • Manage settlements and negotiations.
  • Oversee a Legal Assistant who will support you.
  • Help grow the practice by building client relationships.
Leadership Duties
  • Train and support your Legal Assistant.
  • Help manage staff performance and workplace issues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Law degree and licensed to practice in Alberta.
  • At least 5 years of family law experience.
  • Knowledge of Alberta family law rules and legislation.
  • Good at legal research, writing, and communication.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and legal software.
