Cobalt are delighted to be supporting a well-established national real estate consultancy as they look to appoint an Associate level Surveyor into their Commercial Valuations team in London.

You’ll be joining a highly respected valuation function (18 in London, c.80 valuers nationally) working across a broad mix of asset classes and instructions, with exposure to some of the UK's major banks, local authorities, international funds, and private investors.

The Role:

This is a varied and client-facing position with a strong focus on loan security valuations, alongside other commercial valuation work. Instructions will cover shops, offices, industrial, mixed-use assets and land, offering genuine breadth and technical challenge.

You will:
  • Undertake inspections and compile comparable and market evidence
  • Prepare clear, robust valuation reports in line with RICS standards
  • Justify values to clients and through peer review
  • Work on a wide range of instructions from single assets to complex portfolios
  • Support junior team members and contribute to team growth
About You:
  • MRICS and RICS Registered Valuer
  • Solid experience in commercial valuations, ideally loan security focused
  • Confident inspecting, analysing, and reporting across multiple sectors
  • Commercial, detail-oriented, and comfortable dealing with senior clients
  • Full UK driving licence
