Overview

Join us at WT! We are currently recruiting for a motivated and talented Litigation Associate to join our growing Vancouver team. This position is for a Lawyer with 5+ years of post-call construction litigation experience. Experience in handling both insured and non-insured construction matters is an asset. The successful candidate will run files independently and work with experienced and respected senior counsel on larger matters.

Responsibilities
  • Independently manage all aspects of construction litigation files
  • Conduct examinations for discovery, mediations, and chambers applications
  • Assist senior counsel on complex, multi-party matters
  • Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development
  • Mentor junior colleagues and foster a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
  • Licensed to practice law in Canada and a member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction litigation
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 annually; the base compensation is dependent upon year of call and relevant experience.
