Opa of Greece (Gasoline Alley) is looking to hire an Assistant Restaurant Manager (TEER 60030) on a permanent full-time basis.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Wages: $36.50 per hour

Minimum Education: College/ CEGEP

Minimum Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Job Duties

Plan, Organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
Determine types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
Conduct performance reviews.
Enforce provincial/ territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
Organize and maintain inventory.
Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
Develop, implement and analyze budgets.
Set staff work Schedules and monitor staff performance.
Address customer complaints or concerns.
Recruit, train and supervise staff.
Manage events
