Overview

Mainline Living Property Management is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Property Manager to support operations at one of our thriving residential communities in Kelowna, BC. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional resident experiences, excel at organization, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

As a key member of our property management team, you’ll work closely with the leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. From assisting with leasing and resident relations to coordinating maintenance and supporting budgeting processes, you’ll play an essential role in helping create a vibrant, well-managed community.

Responsibilities
  • Support daily property operations including rent collection, lease administration, and resident communications.
  • Assist with leasing activities: conduct property tours, process applications, prepare lease agreements, and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate service requests and liaise with contractors, vendors, and maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide administrative and financial support, including preparing reports, tracking expenses, and reconciling accounts.
  • Help foster strong resident relationships by responding promptly to inquiries, ensuring satisfaction, and promoting community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Community Director to ensure compliance with tenancy legislation, company policies, and operational standards.
Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in property management, leasing, housing administration, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of administrative functions, customer service, and basic accounting.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, or equivalent is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); comfortable learning new systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
