Assistant Professor in Strategy, Management and Marketing

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a tenure track position in Strategy at the Assistant Professor level with the Department of Marketing and Management at the AACSB-accredited Edwards School of Business. The successful candidate will be required to initiate, lead, and participate in research activities, pursue external funding to support such research activities, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in areas related to business strategy, supervise student research projects, and undertake relevant administrative activities, including meetings and committee work, in a collaborative, collegial environment, where teaching expertise and the ability to publish research in quality journals are highly valued.

The salary is competitive with AACSB-accredited institutions, and it will be commensurate with academic qualifications, accomplishments, and experience. Compensation for this position is in accordance with the terms outlined in the University of Saskatchewan Faculty Association (USFA) Collective Agreement. Qualifications

The minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. degree or nearing completion of Ph.D. specializing in business strategy or strategic management from a recognized university (an AASCB accredited institution is preferred). Candidates must have an interest and the ability to engage in scholarly activities as evidenced by an established research agenda with the potential to publish high-quality research in leading strategy journals, must also demonstrate effective classroom teaching skills and student mentorship abilities in areas related to applied strategy development and implementation as well as effective interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate is expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses and supervise research‑orientated graduate and undergraduate students (B.Comm. Honours and MSc. in Management).
