Job description

As a Assistant Manager, Food Services with Walmart Canada in Montreal, QC, you will support the Store Manager and help manage daily store operations in line with company guidelines. Your role focuses on leading associates to deliver friendly, helpful customer service while driving profitable store sales.

This position is part of the Store Management Team and plays a key role in sales performance, merchandise presentation, safety, compliance, and associate development, ensuring the store operates efficiently across all departments, including Fresh/Food operations.

About the role: Assistant Manager, Food Services

In this role, you will help drive sales and profitability by analyzing sales and financial reports, managing budgets, and responding to market and community needs. You will assist in creating and executing operational plans, prioritizing and delegating tasks, and ensuring optimal store conditions through effective merchandising, pricing accuracy, and store standards.

You will also oversee asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance standards, ensuring compliance with Walmart policies and procedures. As a member of management, you will act as an ambassador for the store by resolving customer issues, supporting community initiatives, and modeling Walmart’s values in customer service and associate leadership.

Benefits and Salary

The pay range for this position is $56,100.00 – $66,642.50 per year.
Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
