Looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are looking for an Assistant Designer, Communications to join our team!
Reporting to the Senior Designer, Communications, you will provide technical support in the preparation, analysis, monitoring and co-ordination of new projects or modifications to existing equipment as related to the design and testing of TTC's Communications systems and equipment for the department. You will assist with the preparation of estimates, material lists, specifications, standards, policies, work methods, test procedures and drawings. You will also conduct engineering analyses, evaluations, tests and draw conclusions. As an Assistant Designer, you will also conduct investigations into electrical, signaling or track problems and detect new areas needing engineering attention to improve safety, productivity and cost effectiveness.
