Overview

Join to apply for the ASPHALT PLANT MANAGER role at D. Crupi & Sons Limited.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Asphalt Plant Manager is responsible for managing the production, maintenance, and personnel at our multiple plant site locations.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the daily production and operations of our plant site locations and crushing operations to achieve operational excellence and optimal plant capacities to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with Sales team and Operations team regarding production volume and requirements.
  • Work with the Quality Control team to ensure quality and specifications are met.
  • Organize and manage subcontractor activities (including but not limited to : welders, electricians, etc).
  • Enforce company policies and safety protocols onsite.
  • Participate in hiring, coaching, and mentoring employees (both union and non-union).
  • Handle budget responsibilities related to asphalt plants, repairs, maintenance, and capital projects.
  • Manage environmental and safety protocols as they relate to the asphalt plants.
  • Liaise with industry vendors and associations.
Qualifications
  • Experience in asphalt manufacturing is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with flexibility to change priorities.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Basic computer skills.
