Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce and will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.
As an Area Manager II at an Amazon fulfillment center, you'll act as a strategic leader overseeing up to 80 associates while driving department level operational improvements. You'll conduct planning sessions with your team, coaching them through operational challenges while developing their leadership capabilities. On a typical day, you'll partner cross‑functionally with teams such as Quality, HR, and Safety to implement scalable process improvements that could impact 200+ associates across multiple workflows. You'll diagnose root causes of performance gaps using advanced analytics, facilitate alignment meetings with senior leadership on department‑level goals, and make data‑driven decisions that balance competing priorities. You would leverage your strategic thinking to review department‑wide metrics, and plan initiatives that directly impact millions of customer orders while maintaining high levels of engagement, safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well‑being.
